ProLoad Live Bird Handling System

Engineered around your process. Not the other way around.

ProLoad is a custom-engineered live bird handling system designed around your poultry processing operation, from plant layout and throughput to module configuration, automation and stunning method.

Designed, manufactured and assembled by Wrightfield, each system can be configured as a complete new installation or integrated with existing poultry processing equipment.

Why Custom Matters

Your poultry processing plant isn't off the shelf - why should your system be.

No two poultry processing operations are exactly alike. Building dimensions, vehicle access, module types, bird throughput, existing machinery and stunning systems can all influence how live birds need to move through the process. ProLoad starts with those requirments.

Rather than designing the plant around a predetermined equipment layout, Wrightfield engineers the handling system around the process — configuring conveyors, buffers, module handling, loading and unloading equipment and controls to work together.

From Arrival To The Processing Line

ProLoad manages and automates the movement of live birds and their transport modules through the critical front end of the poultry processing operation.

Depending on the plant, stunning method and level of automation required, the system can be configured to manage the process from the arrival and unloading of modules through to stunning, hanging and transfer into the processing line.

Pro-Load can be integrated with Low Atmospheric Pressure Stunning (LAPS), allowing birds to remain within their transport drawers during the controlled stunning cycle before progressing to hanging and processing.

LAPS

Wrightfield manufactures, supplies and integrates Low Atmospheric Pressure Stunning (LAPS), where birds remain within their transport drawers during the stunning cycle.

Modules and drawers, designed to work with the system

Pro-Load can be configured around different poultry module and drawer arrangements, including Wrightfield's own transport modules and specialist poultry drawers.
