Wrightfield and MULTIPOND Invite Food Processors to Put Liftvrac to the Test

Food manufacturers can see a Liftvrac conveyor feeding directly into a MULTIPOND multihead weigher — and even bring their own product to test — during a two-week open house in High Wycombe, UK this November.
Wrightfield and MULTIPOND are inviting food processors to experience Liftvrac conveying and MULTIPOND weighing technology working together at MULTIPOND's UK facility in High Wycombe from Monday 2 November to Friday 13 November 2026.
Visitors can book an individual appointment during the two-week event to see a Liftvrac elevator conveyor feeding product directly into a MULTIPOND multihead weigher. More importantly, manufacturers are invited to bring their own food product and see first-hand how it performs through the Liftvrac system.
MULTIPOND is a specialist manufacturer of industrial weighing systems, with more than 80 years of experience and a UK technology centre in High Wycombe equipped for product testing, weighing and packing applications.
Why Liftvrac and MULTIPOND work so well together
Getting product reliably to a multihead weigher is an important part of achieving an efficient weighing and packing process. Liftvrac provides a particularly interesting solution where products need to be elevated while maintaining their integrity.
Unlike a conventional flighted elevator, product enters Liftvrac on a completely smooth polyurethane belt. As the belt travels upwards, it progressively forms around the product, creating a tubular shape that gently contains and elevates it. At the discharge, the belt opens again to release the product ready for transfer to equipment such as a multihead weigher. Liftvrac specifically identifies feeding multihead weighers as an application for its S-shaped conveyor.
The flightless design is particularly suited to delicate, sticky and difficult-to-handle foods because the product is not compressed between conventional flights. A continuous scraper also helps recover product from the smooth belt, while tool-free belt removal has been designed to simplify cleaning and maintenance.
The open house therefore gives processors an opportunity to look beyond individual pieces of machinery and see how controlled elevation, product transfer and accurate multihead weighing can work together as a process.
Bring your product and see what happens
Rather than relying solely on demonstration products, visitors can arrange to bring samples of their own food product for testing.
This provides an opportunity to assess how the product behaves during elevation and discharge and discuss the application directly with Wrightfield and MULTIPOND.
